Africa Startup Initiative Accelerator Program

The Africa Startup Initiative Program is a program founded by Moh Damush, Telecel Group CEO as a CSR activity. Telecel Group then partnered with Startup bootcamp AfriTech to create the ASIP Accelerator Program which contributes in a meaningful way to the African community to help the young Startups in Africa whose innovative ideas are creating a difference in their communities.

Starting in 2017, the first SBC AfriTech program accelerated 40 incredible African startups that have set an incredibly high bar for the next program.

  • 88% are still operating and scaling at impressive rates
  • 50% of our startups are self sustaining based on the commercial contracts
  • The average increase in valuation for startups raising capital is 4x- 10x post-Demo Day

About Startupbootcamp AfriTech

Startupbootcamp AfriTech was launched in 2017 as the first multi corporate-backed pan-African startup accelerator. We run world-class accelerator programs, working with some of the most disruptive startups on the continent. We provide access to our global network of corporate partners, investors, and mentors.

Whats happening?

From the 11th of August till the 8th of November 2019 Startupbootcamp Africa will run a 3-month accelerator program where 10 high potential startups from across the continent will be given the opportunity to accelerate their companies with the help of our team of first-class entrepreneurs, investors, and partners. In 3 months, the selected teams would be achieved what normally would take 18 months, by leveraging direct access to key contacts in the industry.
